The May 2025 meeting had a full slate of presenters, and we also had a good turnout of members and visitors for the meeting. JR, K6LBP presented Troy, KN6GLG with a new 220 handheld transceiver. Troy was the April 220 Use-It-Or-Lose-It net winner. Congratulations Troy.
Bob, W1RH shared some pictures and impressions from the 2025 Dayton Hamvention. Stefan, AF6SA showed off a home-built 160m-6m solid state amplifier. Stefan is going to loan the amplifier to the club for event use. Thank you Stefan.
Roger, W6SHU gave an update on the Field Day location and shared some drone footage of the site thanks to Jeremy W6TKD. Our main speaker for the evening was John KM6AIX. He talked about his work with drones and photo analysis software for his position in the El Dorado County Search and Rescue Team
